Step 01: Drain Old Oil
Begin by lifting the car securely, locating the oil drain plug, and placing an oil catch pan underneath. Unscrew the drain plug and allow the old oil to drain completely.
Step 02: Replace the Oil Filter
Locate the old oil filter and carefully remove it. Prepare the new filter by lightly lubricating the gasket with fresh oil, then screw it into place until snug.
Step 03: Add New Oil and Check Levels
Reinsert the oil drain plug, open the oil cap, and pour the recommended amount of new oil. Afterward, use the dipstick to check the oil level, ensuring it’s within the safe range.
